I never thought I would have to write something like this. But right now, a wonderful family who means the world to me is facing a serious health battle, and I am stepping up to help them.
After an agonizing period of waiting, she was finally able to undergo her critical PET scan. The results confirmed a diagnosis of Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma. While facing cancer is never easy, we are deeply grateful for this definitive diagnosis, as Hodgkin lymphoma generally responds very well to treatment.
Her battle now moves immediately into active treatment. The medical team has established an initial protocol of 6 treatment sessions to start. However, if you know anything about the situation in Lebanon right now, you know how heavy things are. The Ministry of Health covers only a fluctuating portion of medical costs, leaving the family to pay between $1,200 and $1,800 out-of-pocket for every single session, alongside necessary post-session medications and follow-up medical testing required every 2 to 3 sessions.

For transparency, funds are received by a trusted family friend and transferred directly to support her treatment and medication expenses in Lebanon.
